Gareth is an actuary by training who spent 10 years as the Chief Investment Officer at a UK life insurance company, with an investment focus on private placements, infrastructure debt, lifetime mortgages and corporate public debt. Prior to this, he spent c. 30 years at two of the big four accounting firms, where he focused on European life insurance, UK pension buyouts, the application of financial economics to insurance companies, risk-based capitaland M&A.
