Our paper, “Rooftop Solar: An Investment Case”, explores the key reasons to invest in solar energy, and in particular rooftop solar, which offers its own unique set of benefits for the energy transition and for investors.
While most institutional investments are made in ground-mounted solar installations, rooftop solar remains relatively underexploited, as it can make productive use of a large amount of dead space on rooftops around the world.
Other advantages include faster construction than ground-mounted solar sites of a similar size, minimal or no permitting requirements and little or no negative environmental impact.
